Trimax began trading as Trimax Alpaca Stud in 1992.  Trimax was incorporated original as the trading entity for a chain of video outlets.

        In 1995 Trimax was relocated to Tasmania.  After 10 months of searching for the ideal property to set up an Alpaca Interpretation Centre a property was purchased next door to the majestic Guide Falls. Trimax then began trading as Guide Falls Alpaca Park, which now is a fully accredited tourism venture.

       Under the Trimax Alpaca Stud banner several awards in the show ring were achieved including Supreme Fleece at the inaugural Newcastle Alpaca Show.

       Under the Guide Falls Alpaca Park banner continued successes has been achieved, setting high standards in the show ring, with: -

  •          Best white in show

  •          Supreme Light fawn in show

  •         Intermediate Female Champion

  •          Junior champion

  •         Supreme Fleece

  •         Best Wether, and many more

      Wethers are judged on the commercial quality of their fleeces.  Out pet wethers are sort after and sold to locals and sometimes interstate each breeding season.
